2006 UPDATEs

2006 has been another tremendous year for BlueNeonRanch. With the arrival of this years foal crop and the continued amazing success of Lady Perks and Rayel Robinson, we could not ask for more.
As of August 10th, 2006 Lady Perks lifetime earnings are $185,000.00. Lady Perks and Rayel Robinson started 2006 off with a huge win at Calgary's Rodeo Royal in the spring. They also won the Ponoka Stampede again this year! That is back to back championships (2005 & 2006). Only one other horse and rider has ever accomplished back to back wins in the past 40 years at the world famous Ponoka Stampede. Lady Perks and Rayel Robinson also won the Airdrie Pro Rodeo and placed 3rd at the Williams Lake Stampede the same week they won Ponoka.

Then came the 2006 Calgary Stampede. Lady Perks and Rayel actually qualified twice for this years newly formatted Calgary Stampede. They were the 2005 Canadian Finals Ladies Barrel Racing Champions as well as the 2006 Rodeo Royal Champions this spring.

POOL "A"
Lady Perks and Rayel Robinson placed 1st in the 1st Go Round and placed 4th in the 4th Go Round.
On "Wild Card Saturday" the 12 ladies that did not yet qualify in Pool "A" and Pool "B" had to place in the Top 2 (out of 12) to advance to Showdown Sunday. Lady Perks and Rayel placed 2nd to advance to the Top 10 on Showdown Sunday.
On Showdown Sunday, the top 10 ran once each. The top 4 times would then go into the Final 4 of Showdown Sunday.
Out of the Top 10, Lady Perks and Rayel ran the fastest time out of all of them!!! That qualified them into the Final 4.
Lady Perks and Rayel placed 4th, winning $10,000.00 in the finals and a total of $20,000.00 at the 2006 Calgary Stampede.
As of August 10th, 2006 Lady Perks and Rayel Robinson were leading the Canadian Professional Rodeo Barrel Racing Standings. A truly amazing statistic is that the pair had only competed at 13 rodeos.
They have also assured themselves of a berth at this years Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton, Alberta from November 8th - 12th. This will be Lady Perks 2nd consecutive Canadian Finals Rodeo appearance and only her 2nd year of professional rodeo...another amazing accomplishment.
Lady Perks 1st foal was done via embryo transfer to Dash Ta Fame. Little Famous is now 6 months old. This colt has the conformation and blood lines to be something very special.

This past winter, Lady Perks was bred to Frenchmans Guy (embryo transfer) for a 2007 foal. We are looking forward to this foal.

2005 UPDATES
On November 13th, 2005 Lady Perks and Rayel Robinson won the CANADIAN FINALS RODEO and the AGGREGATE. This is Rayel Robinson's 4th Canadian Finals Rodeo Championship title and Lady Perks' first year of professional rodeo competition. At the Canadian Finals the two earned $39,583.00 and $5,500.00 in bonus money, along with a large number of awards. They placed in 5 of the 6 Go Rounds. AMAZING ! ! ! !
As of December 1st, 2005 Lady Perks and Rayel Robinson have earned $133,322.51 in Futurity, Derby, Open, and Pro Rodeo competition. Lady Perks is only six years old !
In December, Lady Perks will be given some much deserved time off. During that time we will conduct another embryo transfer from Lady Perks. We will also be doing some embyro transfers and breedings from our other great proven mares.
Like our mission statement says "Where Mares With a History Produce Foals with a Future", we will continue to produce offspring out of some of the finest barrel racing broodmares on the continent.
